Northern MedTalks

I was paired with Dr. Ravinder Jeet-Singh, a stroke neurologist at Health Sciences North to communicate the importance of awareness when it comes to the symptoms of stroke, and how getting treatment fast can save lives through the program they have at the hospital. We worked together to develop the outline for his ten-minute talk, and I designed the slideshow and speakers notes to follow with his vision. I coached him through preparing for his presentation, which he delivered at the Northern MedTalks event in April. The event consisted of ten healthcare professionals each telling a story in the style of a ten-minute TED Talk. The intended audience was those attending the event who were not expected to have a scientific background, but were interested in the topics being discussed.
